Sony's consumer device unit hasn't been doing that great and the motion pictures unit hasn't been much of a money maker either, so it's not like blu-ray is a big cash cow or you would see these divisions doing much better.

Blu ray has nothing to do with the gaming division

I meant finnacially, as in their not the division that gets the profits even if they cause the sales 

The profits would be in the consumer device or motion picture units. Neither of these units are making huge profits.

figure out how much royalties ps3 gets per sale of a blu ray and times that by every blu ray movie sold and every 3rd party ps3 games sold, personally I think it's significant, after that you have to figure out how much of that is fair to give to ps3 (all of the ps3 games of course and maybe half the movies)

Profits would show someplace on the financial reports. None of these divisions are making gangbuster profits. Profits show on financial reports, its that simple. If something is making a ton of money, it will show on the financial reports. You can't just make some hokey assumptions on how much you think something will make. You have to look at the results.
