Actually, the NES release of Dragon Quest 1 (then titled Dragon Warrior) was published by Nintendo in the US. (For that matter, so was Final Fantasy 1. Was Nintendo trying to help RPGs get a foothold over here?) Enix started publishing it themselves at DQ2. Nintendo is also the US publisher of DQ6 on the DS.

Didn't know the first part. Thanks. I thought that Nintendo was extremely hostile towards third parties back then so it's surprising that they helped these franchises establish themselves.

On topic, I find it hillarious how many people are crying about DQX being on Wii. You guys have got pretty much every other important third party game. Don't be so selfish, xD.
