Maybe in Japan, but their have been reports for years that EBGames and other retailers have been itching to get rid of their PSP sections. PSP games just aren't selling and the hardware while it might be selling alright its not selling enough to justify the shelf space.

When NGP launches the PSP will disapear from gamestores across NA and Europe. But Japan you can still find DreamCasts on store shelves or so I've heard. Those stores will continue to sell PSP and PSP has been doing way better in Japan then elsewhere.

The PSP will be like the GameCube, when Wii launched Nintendo said they would keep supporting it. They tried but the GameCube was dropped from most stores very shortly after Wii's launch. Fact is Sony may try to keep PSP alive but without retailer support it will die pretty quickly.
