Xbox 360: March 23, 2006
PlayStation 3: March 23, 2007

360 had one year ahead... and Australia never was a 360 land... there are just two 360 lands: US and UK.

do more research or if you just talking about big markets

By VGC.

Total = 360 land (because US and UK)
America = 360 land (because US only)
Japan = PS3 land
Total Others = PS3 land (because all except UK)
UK = 360 land
France = PS3 land
Germany = PS3 land
Spain = PS3 land
Italy = PS3 land
Scandinavia = tie
Other Europe = PS3 land
Australia = tie
Other = PS3 land

So give another 360 land???

Although this doesn't give the number of units sold, MS sold £232M of x360s in 2010 and Sony sold £229M of PS3s.

Even with the x360 being cheaper I don't see this as a massive sales gap.

Yes, x360 wins UK but it is no way as decisive as PS3 in Japan or X360 in NA.

Lifetime sales in UK was:

PS3: 3,841,121
360: 6,119,172

Seems the same proportion to US gap (3:2 360:PS3).

PS. 360 doesn't exists in Japan... (5:1 PS3:360)

Yep, that's true. What I wrote didn't quite come accross as I meant it (I am at work and while it is a pretty slow Friday still trying to juggle between here and vgcharts).

I could still be wrong but I was basing my figures on 2010 and trying to make the point that x360 did not outsell PS3 by a whooping great a margin in UK.
