One could make the argument that you should play a game yourself but in the case of Wii they dont have a retail demo selection and I would be stupid to drop 50 on a game to see if its truly better than what most are saying |
I look at people I know are at least somewhat close to my taste. Plus it's usually the really hyped titles that get flooded by fanboy outliers.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
