Yes.
How does it work?
I can only speak about Kinect Adventures, since that's the only game that I've played, and the lag is noticable. Extremely noticable. You have to move at least a quarter of a second before you want the onscreen person to move. This isn't to say that it isn't fun at all, but it definitely needs some work.
