Booh! said: Simple math: if those 537k were all sold in 2009, then the 360 would be at 1181k (because 537k plus 20% = 644k). But it sold less than 537k in 2009 (because some units were sold in 2008 and 2007), so it is lower than 1.2 millions.
|
...just 814k-537k=277k x 120%=332k 814k=1146k
|
The only little error here is the fact PS3 was the best selling console in Australia in 2010... and it sold ~320k (317k)... so 360 sold less than 332k, less than 320k.
Your and my maths are the same...that's the only little difference (PS3 > 360 in 2010 AU).
|
do you think PS3 can sell more than DS(end of 2009=2571381 in 2010?if yes, whatever
if not,i don't think 26.5% can be best selling CONSOLE(Wii 360 PS3 PS2)
in the end, read this again,i get it,will you?
"According to Sony , the PS3 dominated local hardware sales, making up 26.5 percent of all console sales in the region last year--the highest percentage share of any manufacturer ."
|
Yeah. I believe. And 2,571,381 is limetime not 2010... in 2010 PS3 sold more than every other console in Australia.
And why people here thrust when "According to Microsoft" and not when "According with Sony".
|
...god damn of coz lifetime, what are you thinking
and i trust Sony,100% trust
highest percentage share of any manufacturer ,right?
|
26.5% between six consoles (PS3, PS2, 360, Wii, DS, PSP)... that's 2010 figure... so there are just 3 manufactures (Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft)... PS3 plus PS2 plus PSP = highest percentage share of any manufacturer in 2010.
Just PS3 done 26,5%... if PS2 plus PSP done more 15-20% combined... Sony won.
