Maybe DQ VIII, but it could definitely be overtracked. We don't have enough info to go on with that game but DQ IX still sold over 1 mil when other DQs aren't always very successful so that's promising.
MHFU is absolutely overtracked...for fisical year 2009 it only shipped 450k across NA and EU. No way it managed to sell nearly 900k like VGC says.

Well DQIX was the next mainline DQ after VIII, so it makes sense that it would outsell all the spinoffs and remakes in between.
As for monster hunter, yeah it is overtracked, but so is the Wii version. Capcom still has it at 1.8 million (and I don't think there has been a budget SKU yet). 1.15 million of that went to Japan, so that just leaves 650k shipments to the west compared to 750k sold.
