Disappointing TLS sales...it'll sell better in the West though.

If it's released at all.
But it doesn't share any of the elements that make Wii games succesfull in the west
- no innovative gameplay
- not backed up by strong IP
- not remake of big title from past Nintendo consoles
- it isn't party game

MH3 didn't have any of those qualities (strong IP but only in Japan) either yet sold well because it was marketed right. Even DQ IX even though that's on the DS still sold over 1 mil in the West and that has none of these qualities either. Most of the hype for TLS we've seen is from people over here in the West. Just market it right...show off the features of the battle system and the town, the whole dress up aspect, the online PvP and co-op, the fact that it's from Sakaguchi etc. and it should sell well.

Dragon Quest is well known IP even in the west no matter how you put it. DQ VIII has 630k sales in NA alone and Monster Hunter is established IP with a plenty of recognition (not many people buy it but a lot of gamers heard about it)
