Well, I think the dude was right in the sense that DK sold considerably less than the SNES games.

Didn't it outsell DKC3? And going to beat DKC2? and Take a shot at DKC1. 

(Unless you are talking about Japan only, in which case it might get to 3.)

I mean Japan only, the America sales are amazing, EMEAA are decent.... Japan sales... good enough
