From the reviews ive read, it seems the game is too shallow, not enough depth. While I understand it is hard to take a sports game and make it accesible and still have to have some kind of detail of the actual sport its emulating, the guys at Camelot made it look easy gen after gen, system after system. I was hoping it would fill the void that MarioTennis/Golf has left, but it seems that is not the case. Even with the online im gonna pass, it will probably do well anyway. This is a Mario game after all. |
It's more than one sport, and Wii Sports and Resort showed that reviewers have a problem with variety.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
