I have 2 housemates who have fight sticks to play fighting games. I don't like them personally, I've played with SNES then Playstation controllers most my gaming/fighting game life so am used to them and I more regularly beat them. No matter how many times my housemate seems to think the 360 d-pad is okay and many people use it, he just doesn't understand why I don't like it, he just thinks I'm prejudice against the 360 and keeps saying 'the pros use fight sticks', I'm far from pro but I'm better then everyone I know and I use a PS controller.

... anywho, one housemate has the $150 TE one above, costing him more then that. The other housemate has the Tekken bundled fight stick, which code him £40 with the game. Tekken one is wireless when the TE one isn't.

All I have to do now is work out how to use a PS2 controller on the 360 and I'm golden. Unless, anyone know what the Matkatz SF4 controller is like?

The d-pad on the 360 controller really is useless; no one realizes that when you do a quater circle foward motion (Or reverse) as soon as you hit the foward there's a good chance the upper diagonal will get hit causing you to jump instead.  It takes a bit of practice to not do that.  The madcatz pads are alright, I personally like the PS family of controllers for fighters best, I'm just too used to the button layout and I get the most speed out of that pad vs arcade stick or any other pad for that matter (including the Saturn's pad).
