Dead Space 2 Ahead of Resurgent FIFA
07/Feb/2011 This week sees EA’s ‘Dead Space 2’ at No1 for a second consecutive week (-47%) with EA holding 4 of the Top 10 (up from 3 last week). Up one place to No2 is EA’s ‘FIFA 11’ ( 28%) and also up one at No3 is Ubisoft’s ‘Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood’ (-5%). Activision Blizzard drop one place to No4 with ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’ (-12%) and Sony drop 3 places to No5 with ‘LittleBigPlanet 2’ (-56%). Ubisoft remain at No6 with ‘Just Dance 2’ (-14%) and EA’s third Top 10 title ‘Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit’ is also a non-mover at No7 ( 16%). Nintendo’s ‘Art Academy’ on DS climbs one place to No8 (-1%) and EA’s ‘The Sims 3’ re-enters the Top 10, up 4 places to No9 ( 11%). Nintendo then take the next 3 positions with ‘Wii Fit Plus’ at No10 (-25%) followed by 2 new releases: ‘Mario Vs Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem’ for DS debuts at No11 and ‘Mario Sports Mix’ for Wii is new at No12.
The only other new release to make the Top 40 this week is EA’s ‘The Sims 3: Outdoor Living Stuff’ at No25 which is the 7th add-on/expansion and helps to explain why ‘The Sims 3’ broke back into the Top 10 this week.
