After much research I've found why PS2 figures are at 149.7m by my tally vs. the 150.2m I seemed to get earlier. In short, Sony messed up:
All the research is linked for those curious. Note Sony's 2008 Fiscal Year ends March 2009, so Q3 FY 2008 is Oct-Dec 2009 and so on. The 2.1m at the bottom is for Oct-Dec 2010.
* Dec 2008 Figures: 136.3m 1.4m 1.6m 1.9m 2.1m 1.7m 1.6m 1.5m 2.1m = 150.2m as of Dec 2010
* June 2009 Figures: 138.8m 1.9m 2.1m 1.7m 1.6m 1.5m 2.1m = 149.7m
Anyway, PS2 is over 150m shipped as of Jan 2011 - article is up.
