When Big Daddy died in the Kick-Ass comic, I was pretty bummed. He was fighting crime with his daughter and they thought Kick-Ass was a real hero. Kick-Ass showed up while Big Daddy was shot in the stomach and Hit Girl was crying (because she loved him, of course). After torturing him and Kick-Ass, the bad guy shot Big Daddy in the face.
