VGC cares about this shipped nos more than the so-called "desperate" Sony fans. Adjustments of over 3 million in the favour of PS3 in the span of last 1 year tells you a good story of how reliable and accurate VGC numbers can be.

If there were no reports of shipped figures then the 10% margin error would be something like 20-25% by now.
