Rockstar also signed a contract for GTA IV Episodes to be exclusive for 50 million, and found a way around that. Agent may go multiplatform, but thats besides the point. I'm only trying to show you thats it's unreasonable to expect the game to sell 5 million as a PS3 exclusive, when no gameplay footage has even been shown about this game. -If Agent sold 5 million or more units, it would be PS3's best selling exclusive game for 2011, above Uncharted 3, LBP2, Killzone 3, and others. For 2011, Uncharted 3 is PS3's Star Performer, and I don't see Agent selling more then that, which will be around 5 million. -Last Point, Gears was delayed from April-Fall, but it still added 8k pre-orders this week, 2/3rd of Killzone 3, and 7th most overall. selling over 5m is not that big of a deal this generation plus selling 5m doesn't make it a mega blockbuster.
Gears and Assasins sold over 5m but they cannot be considered with COD,GT,HALO,FF.
rockstar can break contracts but would they want to?i don't think so looking back at the relationship
Rockstar signed 50m GTA episodes contract but that contract was only for timed exclusively not full exclusivity plus the final figure was around $75m that MS paid to bring GTA and EPISODES to 360.
gears pre-orders are big and it is going to be epic but the pre-orders tally isn't correct.
AGENT will surely trump 5m if released this holiday
