I just want to see how Conduit 2 turns out on the Wii first. I never played the original Conduit, but I got the sense that it was a letdown for many. I stuck to Metroid (which I still need to finish!).

I do wonder if High Voltage will be able to push the 3DS' graphical capabilities at all. Maybe not, since the 3DS is new.

Their Quantum 3 engine is actually quite good in the graphics department.  Does a lot of things the HD consoles do that practically no other Wii developer has been seen to do (Nintendo aside).

I'm pretty certain that they will push the 3DS graphically as much as any other developer will.

Oh, I read all about the Quantum 3 engine b/c I was so curious about how HV could get The Conduit's graphics on the Wii. But it was a letdown in terms of gameplay, right? Good for the Wii, but didn't compare well with FPS games on the 360 is what I read a lot of in reviews.

I just wondered if HV would be able to create their own proprietary engine for the 3DS as they did with the Quantum 3 for the Wii.

Gameplay was OK.  Far from being bad though.   Conduit 2 fixes a lot of the problems from the first game.  At least from what I saw at E3 last year.

As for the 3DS, I suspect they'll rewrite the Quantum 3 engine over to it.  They've already given it a few revisions on Wii alone just since the first Conduit game.  The Quantum 3 engine is designed to take advantage of fixed function pipeline GPU's so the 3DS should fit well with it.
