I have been into Demon's Souls for less than a week and it's a weird videogame experience to me.

First and foremost, as a newbie player, I feel totally lost. It's nice not to be guided by the nose like nowadays games, but I keep looking at internet for advice about beginning the game because I have absolutely no clue of what am I doing, what I ought do , what I souldn't do.

I don't like also, in a RPG, when you don't feel evolving. I am soul Level 21 and I don't know how I got there. I still can't read the icons for the wepons, it does not feel natural to me.

I have the Black Phantom edition, and I found out that the guide inside describes totally what you should do at the beginning to PEX more efficiently. Perhaps if I had read it before, instead than rushing into the game like a 12yo, I had a better start :D

There's quite a lot of thing I don't like in the game, but I just keep on coming back ! First time I feel neutral about a game.

I have the Black Phantom edition too and my experience was exactly like yours before I read the guide- Then I read a little of the first level walkthrough and some pages before it (character creation) and my experience got reasonable (amazing) from there on. Dont read the guide too much though or you will feel it makes the game far too easy for you!
