It doesn't matter what you think, they are both positioned in the media plus games crossover market. The NGP is even more like the iOS devices than the PSP was.

This part made me laugh, PSP might have had some multi media functions....but absolutely no one purchased a PSP in for its music player or video playback, they bought one for the games....The same CANNOT be said of the iDevice.

They have two completely different markets.

Some? It came with its own media format. Case is closed, Apple iOS owns PSP in gaming. It doesn't matter that the iOS devices own the PSP 10* more in say music than they do in games, they still own it in games end of story.

Because IOS aren't gaming devices, or would you argue that pc has wii, ps3 and 360 beat because more people own a pc then a wii or ps3 or 360 and it has games on it? Not to mention the fact that IOS games are only flash quality so it's hard to take them seriously against an actual gaming device 

All PCs are gaming PCs, including netbooks, because they have solitaire.

 

(jk, even though netbooks can run HL1 and quite a few older titles....)
