More proper to say that on Jan 1 there were more PS3s on store shelves than there were 360s.  Remember PS3 still had holiday push in Japan to be prepared for. 

I expect 1st qtr shipments for 360 to be about 1 million more than PS3 shipments for the same period.

I will bet that xbox 360 ships more then ps3 next Quarter.


even with the launch of kinect, a new slim model, halo reach and extreme advertising, they didnt sell more xbox 360's? so what on earth is gonna push it next quarter? enlighten me.

I hate to defend this guy but ps3 does have a ton of consoles left over that were shipped last quarter and 360 not so much I think theres a chance of 360 shipping slightly more then ps3 but if it does ps3 will just stomp it next quarter and gain 1-2 million WW over the year, so yeah
