Happens sometimes no worries, hold down the power button on the PS3 and wait for it to beep twice let go and turn it back on. What that does is basically a resets the system and it should fix the problem. But make sure the controller is plugged in to the USB when you turn it back on.

If that doesn't work then I failed haha, it worked for me before so heres to hoping it helps you. BTW you can also use that trick if you're switching from HDMI to composite or component or vice versa.

i tried that i tonly beeped once though and didnt work i mustve done something wrong lol.

Oh haha I did fail I meant you're supposed to hold the power button down when turning it on not off. Lol see if that works, but wait for the second beep.

nope it did everything you said but it didnt work but thanks anyway i may just need a new controller idk.
