The psp is my opinion was brought in ahead of its time(like the ps3) sony should have waited for 2006 release, having a cheaper price(nobody will pay $249.99 for a handheld)
and UMD died because the only thing you can use it on was the psp, if they had the connect to TV feature it has now UMD would have been as popular as DVD.
