Will the PS3 and 360 gap grow or close in 2011?

It's really great mental acrobatics to miss the fact that inspite of the high price of the PS3, people still needed a reason to buy the Xbox 360. If both the Xbox 360 and PS3 sucked then people would have either bought neither or Wii or PC or they would have waited until one of them become compelling enough to actually buy.

the price was the biggest factor, mutiplats cheaper price made the dif, if ps3 was the same price as 360 when it launched it would have sold atleast 4-1 more then 360

But Sony fans were telling me for years that the Xbox 360 was infact more expensive. You already got your wish. The 360 fans who bought one with Gears of War have already paid more than $200 in Xbox Live fees. By the time this generation ends Xbox 360 fans would have paid more for their consoles than PS3 fans by a significant margin.

P.S. Significant doesn't mean 'insignificant'
