Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Mario, can't wait to show off the Super Mario Bros. game that he's working on for 3DS.

Miyamoto was talking about the future of Mario during the latest edition of Iwata Asks: Super Mario Bros 25th anniversary when he said "In the interests of adopting new technology for the Super Mario Bros. tradition, I am now making a new Super Mario Bros. game for the Nintendo 3DS system. I want to show everyone as soon as possible what the new Super Mario Bros. will be like on the Nintendo 3DS."

Of course Miyamoto announced last year that he was working on 2D and 3D Mario adventures for 3DS but the fact that he wants to show off Super Mario Bros. 3DS as soon as possible is very exciting. We can only hope that the great man will have something to share with us at E3.

What will the game be like? Well, Miyamoto himself has said that 3DS will make games such as Mario easier to play.
