Yeah, hiragana and katakana are pretty easy once you get you used to them. Kanji aren't that bad either after awhile. I'm alright with them (I passed the JLPT lvl.2 test like 2 years ago, haven't tried lvl.1), though there are still quite a few I don't know. I figure being in Japan another few years and I'll be fine. ;-p |
You should try level 1, it's really not that hard, I passed it in 2009 without problems.
