Try playing it on hard mode with a friend. For Gears original, it was somewhat of a challenge I mean we actually died once in a while. Playing hard mode on 2 was so easy I felt like I slept through half of the game.

I soled insane on both and yeah 1 was harder but still not really hard and what got that to do with anything? 2 was a better game and more enjoyable especially the campaign, it had good bosses and better pacing. 1 might have been harder, but again; no game was partically hard and harder doesn't mean better.

It has to do with everything because:
1) I only play gears coop with one of my step bros.
2) You cannot play insane until you beat the game first.
3) I like to experience the the game for the first time with my coop partner.
With these things in mind I don't give a shit how hard insane mode is, what I care about is the games coop experience is challenging as is the solo campaign and the 2nd Gears was by far easier than the 1st for coop. Take away coop, and gears is not all that great. If insane mode was available from the begining than I would have not had such a boring experience with gears 2.
