3G with portable PS3 graphics PLUS Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. = Game changer.

 

3DS will get Gamecube/PS2 ports.(Nintendo's smart. Keeping the handheld and home console market seperate with a new flavor)

PSP2 will get current generation homeconsole ports. (will this slow PS3 sales? I think so.)

 

 

What say you??

JUST going to tackle these points. 

  1. I have yet to see a phone game look anywhere near anything the 3DS is putting out.  Hell not even a port of say Ocarina of Time.  Some may have pretty graphics but they are not full games, they are crappy ass quick phone games.
  2. You do realize that 3G is not going to be used for gaming at all.  It is WAY TOO SLOW.  No way could you play anything remotely decent.  At best your going to be playing things like tetris on 3G.
  3. 3DS is already getting Wii/3DS games.  So that is current gen as well.  Personally it looks like this generation we have Nintendo with a Wii and 3DS both of relatively same graphics.  And we have PS3 and NGP as well respectively same graphics.  So we are going to see simultanius releases on both wii/3ds and wlel as ps3/ngp quite often if i were to guess.  You know how when a new COD comes out it says ps3/360/ds/wii/ect.  well same thing now, just that the ds and psp version, now 3ds and ngp version won't have to be made from floor up but just be ports/copy's of the ps3/wii.


will it slow ps3 sales?  ha hell no, more like the opposite.  NGP won't take off if what you say is true.  Sony never learned that.  The DS isn't going to be the best selling system ever because it has ps1/64 and older ports.  It is going to be the most successful game ever due to new games that were on it.  sure mario 2d is at the top, but then look at the rest of the top 15 million sellers.  its like nintendogs, brain age, pokemon.  can list a bunch more that are 5 million plus, which is about the psp's max.  But the point is that these are handheld only games.  They aren't an uncharted port, or a kingdom hearts/god of war spin off/side story.
