oh I read it the Cell in the PS3 only has 7 SPEs BTW and SPEs aren't really comparable to actual CPU cores as they lack any cache or branch predictors etc it's better to think of them as co-processors really but otherwise your tech assessment seems good. I will still use the term flash memory instead of the correct term tho as it's easier to recognise and are esentially the same outside of protocols and the ability to write. People are more familiar with the term flash memory anyway.
