It is senseless to deny the dual-analog sticks capability, but the point is another...PSP had a problem because it had only one, and also it did't have anything to work in its place. That's not the case of 3DS since it has the touch-screen to stand for it. Games like Mario 64 DS have proven that the touch-screen it's not confortable to replace the analog stick for movements...but the second analog stick is generally used to move the camera, that doesn't require the same precision. On the other hand the stylus has proved to be very precise for aiming while not very confortable. So, considering the FPS genre (as example), you have 2 different control layouts, one more confortable but less precise on NGP, and one more precise but less confortable on 3DS, which is better depends on your point of wiew.
