Hahahaha this thread is hilarious, come on guys dual analogs are awesome, I do hope developers take the full advantage of those front and rear touch pads on the NGP and create new IPs and experiences but dual analogs are really helpfull in third and first person games.

Yes, some people are seriously defending the use of a stylus over a second analog stick.
Is it just me, or am I the only one who has a problem with using a stylus in my right hand while simultaneously pressing right side face and shoulder buttons? I know; it's just me.
Games use one or the other, rarely both because there is no rapid switching between the two.
Either I'm the only one who's noticed this, or I'm the only one pointing it out.
Of course, everyone should probably just stop kidding themselves and admit this whole "issue" wouldn't even be a point of debate had Nintendo simply added a second analog stick to the 3DS like many would have preferred. Better to have it and not use it than need it and not have it.

The "many would have preferred" you talk about seem to be only about the internet crowd, more buttons only confuse people.

So you're saying that a standard controller is too confusing for anyone who is not a part of this "internet crowd" you're referencing.
An extra nub doesn't take a degree in rocket science to figure out how to use. The average 5 year old child should know how to use one.
