Could NGP save game companies?

I think you got it wrong. PS3 games MGS4 and Yakuza were easily ported in a couple days to NGP.

You misunderstood me.  They showed those off to show it can be done, but don't think PS3 to NGP, think the other way around.  I mean how many people were complaining that they'd buy PSP games if it wasn't on PSP?  Make PSP games, have the PS3 version ready, or in this case, make your NGP game, and have the PS3 version ready.
