Honestly I don't mind a shorter battery life. For the most part I don't play my DSi more then 3-4 hours at a time anyways. Also at launch I won't be bringing it on my plane trips (Don't wanna have it stolen on my missions trips) In a few years a new model will come out and if it ends up being an issue I'll trade up!
