If so...I can't say I'm impressed with the ground textures on the first screen.

I thought at first these were from the console versions, with a doctoring or two.

Ah well, I can still say it looks good for a multiplat game.

due to the cost of creating mega textures and their size (in GB) the textures are going to be the same as on consoles and as all the texturing is unique and is fixed to the geometry of the world the PC version is going to have the same textures and models as consoles. So no matter what version these shots are the only difference will be resolution and effects anyway.
