Tell me you are joking. I think this might be the easiest game I have played this generation. I've got thirty, 30(!), healing items right now. On top of that, the game is almost completely linear. With very minimal exploration you can find everything in the game. Who needs a guide for that? All you do is follow the one empty path (slowly), fight the occasional ghost (that always announces its presence), and back track for key items when necessary. |
Im sure Mario Kart was a lot easier. =P
While I agree it was definitely linear, there are parts where you have to figure out how to get through to the next area (like the base camp area). its easy to get turned around.
I will say, at first I wasnt so sold on the game, like some other people who only gave it 30 minutes or so of gametime, but I pushed on and found the game to be a lot more interesting as it went on.
If it was from a big developer, I'd have been disappointed. From a small dev, its not bad. Think of it as if you were watching an independent film.
