I haven't heard the term before, but doing a quick search it is very similar to LD50. I'm assuming you know what LC50 is testing for. I'm exactly sure what your experiment is, but I know for testing LD50 you put the specimens into different chambers and give each one of them different dosages of a toxin and see how long it takes for 50% of the specimens to die for each chamber. I've never done it but did talk about it in my watershed science class last semeter.

Yes it is very similiar. I have one question since I hope you do know. What is Log10 concentration? I am looking at this data and they don't expand on it.

I know what a log (logarithm) is but I haven't come across Log10 concentration before. I suggest to look in your class textbook or to ask a classmate. I hope you figure it out.

I did. Now I know. One last thing and hopefully I find out soon. I have this sendiment sample that is .8 inches in lengh. Do you know how that can be converted to mg/l?

.8 inches by X what? You need the volume of it to convert it to mg/L.

That's how I am getting confused. It's about 6 grams, sediment sample. The whole container i put it in is 7 fluid onces.

Edit: how would i find the volume.
