As ridiculous as it might sound I fear Wii might end up pulling 360-like numbers at some point this year. Especially if there's nothing to buoy sales during the slow summer months. Last year I assumed things wouldn't be very good for the Wii in Japan in 2011 but I didn't think sales would decline this quickly. I pictured it would be something like a handful of sub-10k weeks and the majority in the teens and low 20ks. But the way things are looking now a lot could be sub-10k.

Well I don't fear that, and I'm a huge Wii fan.. I mean you are right it probably will happen, but at this point in the game it doesn't really matter.

Software sales matter just as much if not more at this point, and it certainly has the software sales, far more than PS3.

It had a great run, for being Wii's weakest market of the 3. Japan as a viable gaming market is dying anyway. And PS3 will follow shortly after, it is already just behind Wii in decline.
