Crytek: no other engine can match CryEngine 3

pretty much says that no other engine can do what Cry engine can do which is everything it's not true and the title is sensationalist tho...

See, I read that as "Crysis 2 is so tailored to our engine that it wouldn't be  possible with any other engine".  Then again, that's the less sensational (i.e. traffic getting) interpretation ...

so from any other game could could be made in the Cryengine 3 and no other engine could do Crysis 2, isn't claiming that their engine is better than everyone else's? The logical interpretation from those two quotes  is that Cryengine 3 is able to both deliver everything that competing engines are capable of (shipped with our competitors engines could have been done with the Crytek engine) and that Cryengine 3 can do things that no other engine can (Crysis 2 wouldn’t have been possible with any other engine) yes it's marketing hype and the title sensationalised but there is grounds for the title and it's not an outright lie, IMO anyway...
