I'm getting really hyped for this game. I want a good shooter to play with my buddies and they don't like halo (I feel sorry for them) so we settled on CoD BO but I don't really like the play style. We'll see what this offers.

Homefront from what I heard/read plays a lot like COD especially when it comes to gun play but with bigger maps more vehicles etc, You may wan't to look into BRINK tho should play different to both COD and Halo with a good focus on multiplayer or Crysis 2 but that sounds a bit like CODxHalo:Reach on consoles with it's gun play being more like COD than the first and the Suit abilities and maps with vertical elements.

I keep forgetting about brink. Seems like I first heard of it so long ago. When is it releasing? I ply a ton of shooters so i will probably get them both and than see what my buddies like to play

dang, i fought its coming soon. I bought Fallout 3 GOTY edition and it had an brink flyer stating coming 2010. 

yea it's been delayed several times, hopefully that means that they are polishing the game and adding more content, or since they are sort of part of Bethesda now they are incorperating some id tech 5 into their heavally modified id tech 4 engine...
