I'm on the same boat as disolitude. While the screens look nice, it could very well end up being too gun-ho like Alan Wake. Now if it was like the previous Silent Hill games, where the focus is on puzzles, with bullets being limited in supply and combat being difficult and better off being avoided, then I'm game.

Frankly, the talk of scrapped MP plans is really starting to make me pessimistic.

Still, I'll keep watch. And again, the screens seem to show the atmosphere could very well still be there.

One thing though, the game could use a little more fog than that.

I don't think it will be much like WAKE at all, and that's a very good thing (no offense to WAKE). It's a completely different type of game, and doesn't allow you to feel confident in your sense of defense (the very basis of SH). Weapons breaking and the lack of an inventory is attempting to bring back the very sense of what makes survival horror, survival horror.

Now I'm not saying there's no way Vatra can/will mess this up, but being much like WAKE won't be one of it's characteristics.

Well, that can be a very good thing. But that's just one thing it needs to have the feel of older Silent Hill games.
