No. they wouldn't, each console would offer different advantages and disadvantages, in terms of the processing power and the graphical capability, as well as the input method, not to mention the relative price and other features of a console as well. Some consoles would easily be seen to be deficient in critical areas that would be worth hatred and ire, or at the very least, apathetic dismissal.

 

I said that without games, all consoles are equal. When it comes to games, some consoles have better game libraries than others, but all can be enjoyed. Sure, you will not want to buy all the consoles, but at least respect the ones that you do not buy, for hard work went into all the consoles that exist. Until you create a better console, than your word may be stronger, but even then, you should respect the other consoles, for what they are. I am getting sick of fan boys spreading hatred amongst certain consoles, because they may think that another is superior. As for price, it is only a barrier, that decreases in time.

 

and I said, that WITHOUT games, all consoles are junk. If consoles were all equal, then with the SAME GAME LIST, they would still all be equal. However they aren't. So therefor not all consoles can really be considered to be equal.
