Looks like most devs are going with the $40 pricetag rather than the $50 (the two that do have it at $50 may come to regret that considering Nintendo titles aren't even that high).  Really software pricing amongst competition can become quite the rivalry.  This might be setting the stage of almost all 3DS games coming out at this pricetag (similarly to how most DS games come out at $30 rather than $35).  

That would be great for us consumers.  Would be quite happy for the majority of the games to be that price, although I do expect that come the end of the year the "higher budget" games (Nintendo and big 3rd party games) will almost all take the higher pricetag.  

Still not entirely sure though what games I'll buy at launch.  Maybe Steel Driver or SSIV 3D.
