This is pretty much what I've been trying to say over the past 50 or so comments. I'm glad Im not the only one who thinks this!
Also, it's interesting to see how much of a divide there is in the public's opinion really, between those who agree with the OP, and those who agree with the article linked in the OP. I never expected such a split, though, maybe I should have...
