Seriously, that does sound more like something SCE would have said back in 2006, although in this case, at least Nintendo is still pulling a profit on each unit sold, even at $250.
And even in the days of elementary school kids with iPods, somehow I just don't see the average family buying a bunch of $300-400 handheld video game players for the kids.
