Even Ninty said that they could have done more with the 3rd party devs, which they are trying with 3DS. like you like to say you have to have to build a fanbase for their to be an audience and the fanbase for some of these genres, after 4 years are gone its way too late in the game to try now(2), not when the other consoles have so much of the genres that the Wii lacks |
1. That attitude has led to lost money, because what many have shown that what they want is to overspend on games.
2. No, it's not. Make the games, and people will buy them. They just want it to be too late, because that way they can pretend they are right. Flood the system with ports at first, then make some original games after the fact, and customers will see the games are there and buy them.
Not claiming that will be done. I'm just pointing out it's not too late, as they wanted it to be too late even from the beginning.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
