After reading a few more user experiences on the forums (just check the Sony section) it seems to be 100% deliberate. You'd think that people'd do something more productive with their CFW's, with all of them raving about great homebrew and such, but as of today, it has given honest users nothing but grief. It's a shame, and I really don't understand the people supporting said hackers...
