glasses-free 3d screens are a inevitable thing to appear in next eletronic devices. It doesn't matter if Nintendo had the idea to RUSH and implement this technology in earlies stages of its life.
It's easy to take risks and put this technology in a nintendo game device. But the Cellphone/Smartphone segment is very competitive, and apple needs to maintain the value of their brand. They need to invest and wait a little for this technology be more mature. It's the same as the DS case. It used touchscreen...right. But the iPhone touchscreen was 100 times superior.
I hate apple too. But let's be fair.

Actually I never bought a apple product. I'm not a hater. I just dislike the brand and find their products overpriced.

Yeah - Apple focuses on brand strength and high margins. Their margins are huge.
Agreeing with your point - Apple will wait until the 3D glasses free screens are highly compatible with touch screen technology.
