bluray mini discs hold 8gbs of data. With 4x read speed it would work nicely.

so a jumbo a handheld bigger than the already considered large PSP with somehow a disc drive twice as fast as the PS3's?..

Not what I would call nice

Mini blurays are about the same size as UMDs minus the case so it should be a touch thinner. The drive doesn't need a red laser so we can remove UMD support as PSP titles are on the PSN anyways. Based off Samsung's ultra-slim blu-ray players, there shouldn't be any need for a game system bigger than the PSP-3000.

sorry for the late reply but I didn't have access to the internet for a day lol

Where did you hear that? the Blu-ray mini spec is for an 8CM wide disc and holds about 7.5GB http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu-ray_Disc#Mini_Blu-ray_Disc there is no UMD sized Blu-ray disc to my knowledge. if the discs were UMD sized without the case than the reader wouldn't be backwards compatible with the PSP UMDs anyway and didn't SONY learn from the PSP Go that digital only wasn't viable yet when you are talking about large games considering PSP2 games will be multi GB...
