I'm about to start with my Masters degree and I would like to hear some opinions from you guys. I have a choice to make; Either I do my Masters in
Material Science
or in
Accelerator and Nuclear Physics.
So PLEASE feel free to give your opinion based on the field itself, the job market, current and future research etc. etc.
At the moment I'm leaning towards Material Science because it would be a sure fire way to get into the technology industry. Think LCD, LED etc. Well, there's so many interesting applications.
Nuclear Physics is more developed i.t.o infrastructure and reliable funding though. It also doesn't mean that I'll definitely be working at a Nuclear Power Plant!
Ultimately my dream is still to work in the games industry... *sigh*
