The issue is some third party have not supported the Wii because they don't make the games Wii sells well. I don't blame them as they have plenty of other options. It's not like the Wii gets no games, it has the most games anyway. 

See, that's the issue. The Wii sells a lot of third party games, but it also gets by far the most games. This means that the average sales per title are quite low. Big hits for third parties are rare and that on a userbase that now exceeds 80 million units. If the Wii was as predictable as you said, then we should be looking at different results, unless of course a) or b) apply.

You Blame third party,  I blame Nintendo as these third can never compete with Nintendo's own games while they are top dog on the HD consoles, and get help from both Sony and MS.
